Hello! My name is Rebecca Jane.

Whether it is an animal in need or a human working through mental health concerns, I thrive on providing help wherever I can. That’s why I have fostered over 25 dogs, and have learned so much about myself and the sweet pups that have come my way. I have always had a passion for helping those who need help advocating for themselves.
I am a mom to a sports-loving teenager as well as four rescue dogs. I work full time as a Learning & Development Director for a mental health company. I have also been a board member and social media manager for a dog rescue group for ten years.
Here on my blog you’ll find content about my advocacy in dog rescue, as well as my life as a single mom to my son: a beautiful, smart, active teenager who experiences life with anxiety, OCD and an eating disorder. I love to write and create content about these topics and much more. Please browse my site and reach out to chat anytime!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello!

thank you so much!!! 🙂
You are very welcome and so very deserving!
Nice photo. What you do saves dogs & humans. I was rescued by a pit bull during a hard time in my life. Dogs have a power to heal that is beyond explanation. Blessings to you & yours.
Thank you! I completely agree. I was broken-hearted over saying goodbye to a favorite foster of mine, and then Oscar came into my life. I love that pup so much, and am very thankful that I was able to save his life! 🙂
Hey, I can’t find your email. Can you email me so that I can ask you a question?
–Shaye
Hi Shaye,
I’m sorry, but I don’t give out my personal email on here. Can you ask me on here? Otherwise, you are welcome to ask me via the Tails of a Foster Mom’s Facebook page. Thanks!
Hi Rebecca! My name is Cameron and I had a question about your blog and was hoping you could email me when you have a moment. Thanks so much! I hope this post finds you well. 🙂
Hi Cameron, Can you message me on my blog’s FB page: Tails of a Foster Mom
Hi Rebecca! I’m new to the blogging world and working my way through The Daily Post’s Blogging 101. I’m on day four, and our assignment includes following 5 new blogs. You are my first new follow.
I have been an avid dog lover my whole life. I fostered a girl years ago who was a small pit/bully girl who turned up pregnant. She had 5 babies I helped raise. It was very hard to say goodbye to them all!
Currently I have two wolfhounds, one will be 10 very soon and the other is 21 months old. I am considering fostering again after my older girl passes. She’s feeling her age, and I don’t want to put her through any more new additions. But hopefully that will be awhile, because I’m not in any hurry to say goodbye to her.
I look forward to reading about your foster adventures.
-Amber
Hi there, & thanks so much for choosing my blog!
Hey, Rebecca! I’ve been trying to connect to more blogs with similar content as my own (yay for fostering!). Just wanted to see if you’d be interested in checking out my blog and following back, or just giving some feedback, whatever. I think the foster community is super important and supportive, so I’m just looking to touch base with a few other foster blogs out there. Thanks, and keep up the great work saving lives!
Hi Rebecca!
I love your doggies 🙂 Once I’m able to purchase my own home, which should be in the next 2 years, I would love to get into fostering as well. Bain is so great with other dogs I think it would be so beneficial for both sides.
I will head over to your Facebook page =)
Have a wonderful day!
Hi! Thank you so much for stopping by! 🙂
I just nominated you for the Liebster Award 🙂 If you’d like to accept it, you can read more about it here: http://celloscorner.com/2015/02/07/liebster-award-nomination-our-first-blogging-award/
I foster dogs for Lost Boys Hope 🙂
I have noticed there is a lack of understanding between home fostering and the humane society so I’m going to start something in my area online.
🙂
Do you by chance have an email I can contact? (: I really enjoy the work you’re doing.
